The name "Sacred Heart Ranch" reflects the Catholic faith shared by the couple who will be operating and running the day to day activities of this transition home. Meet Pete Espil and Jaime Thietten-Espil.
Jean Pierre (Pete) Espil LCSW, the co-founder and president of Sacred Heart Ranch, has spent 25 years working with youth and young adults, this includes 13 years of youth ministry for the Catholic Church in 3 different states. Additionally, he is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker for the state of Idaho and currently works as a counselor at a local agency in Twin Falls. Jaime Thietten-Espil, the co-founder and vice-president of Sacred Heart Ranch has spent 20 years traveling and performing music at churches and events internationally and is currently working as a vocal coach. Living in many parts of the country over the past 20 years along with the traveling Jaime has done, the couple has met many wonderful people who have encouraged them to pursue this dream.

"When the Covid 19 Pandemic hit, Jaime and I were sitting in the living-room discussing what we should do with the rest of our lives. We had finally moved back home to Southern Idaho, bought a house and settled in to great jobs that we loved. However, we were both feeling that we could serve our community in a larger way. How could we fill a greater need?
From that conversation, the idea for Sacred Heart Ranch of Idaho was born.
We hope and pray for the support needed by those around us so we can help these young women heal, learn, grow and have a promising future."
